Ashley Kuruvilla, NP-C
Ashley has always had a desire to help people. As the youngest in a family of medical professionals, the impact of providing care to others motivated her to become a nurse at the age of 21. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Ramapo College of New Jersey. After working for 11 years as a Registered Nurse in various clinical settings, she advanced her career and graduated with Summa Cum Laude from South University in Savannah, Georgia with a Master of Science in Nursing degree.
She has extensive experience working in inpatient medical-surgical units, orthopedics, managed care, and physical medicine. She is Board-Certified, a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and is certified in Joint & Trigger Point injections. She became fascinated by Functional Medicine as it focuses on the origin of disease rather than blind treatment. “I believe the human body is a puzzle with numerous connecting pieces and without one, the picture is incomplete.” She is passionate about nursing and enjoys educating her patients and caring for them holistically.
On her days off, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and son. She is an active member of her church and enjoys board games, playing volleyball, dancing, and being a creative entrepreneur.
